WHO WE ARE
Yarra Ranges Special Developmental School (YRSDS) OSH Program provides out-of-school-hours support to individuals with a disability.
The program incorporates support services provided at the school and within the wider community.
The School Holiday Program service aims to support participants to realise individual, personal goals in relation to community and social participation during school holiday periods.
YRSDS has been providing quality school holiday programs for children since 2001, initially with the support of the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS). Over this period the Vacation Program has grown and developed and now operates during all school term holiday periods, providing a total of five weeks of service provision per annum as an accredited and fully registered NDIS Service Provider.
On average, 35 attend each weekly program and are involved in a variety of fun and age-appropriate facility-based and community-based activities. The program caters for school aged children.
We also offer an Afternoon Club for participants who attend Yarra Ranges Special Developmental School.
