As part of the onboarding process there is a variety of information that we are required to provide to you, collect from you and training that is required to be completed also.

Mandatory Training Requirements
Staff must complete the following training before employment can be offered on the YRSDS OSH Program. Please click each link to access the training.
NDIS Worker Safety Screening Check
All states and territories have now commenced implementing NDIS Worker Screening Check arrangements. As a worker on the YRSDS OSH Program, delivering NDIS supports and services, you are required to have an NDIS worker screening clearance.
What is worker screening?
Worker screening is a way to help check that the people who are working, or wish to work, with NDIS participants don't present an unacceptable risk to people with disability. Worker screening is an important tool in the recruitment, selection and screening processes of an NDIS provider, and assists in the ongoing review of the suitability of workers.
How do I apply for the NDIS Worker Screening Check?
You can apply for your NDIS Check online at Service Victoria https://www.service.vic.gov.au/services/national-disability-insurance-scheme
You’ll need:
• Your employer details (Yarra Ranges Special Developmental School, Employer ID: 4-4331-1698)
• A smartphone, for the ID check
• Original ID documents (listed at the link above)
You will need to do the following:
• Register for or login to your Service Victoria account
• Verify your identity
• Submit your identification documents for your police check and any other background checks
• Enter your work details
• Review and provide consent for the checks
• Pay for your application (The NDIS worker clearance check costs $121.10 - payable by workers upon application).

As part of the onboarding process, and for existing staff there is a variety of information relating to Covid-19 that we are required to provide to you. Please download, view and retain these documents for your information and reference. You will check off that you have received this information, in person, as part of your OHS Covid-19 Working Onsite Induction.

Further Requirements
You will also need to supply the following:
A copy of your current Working with Children Check
A Curriculum Vitae/Resume
A Copy of your driving licence
A Copy of your completed NDIS Worker Screening Check.

Once you have completed all of the above free modules and training – please supply a copy of your certificates, along with all other mandatory paperwork to the Program Manager either via email or in person.
Prior to being offered employment you will also need to meet onsite with a member of the OSH Program Management team in order to

Complete the practical component of your Anaphylaxis training.
Check through all of your paperwork.
