If you would like your child to attend, please complete this [THE ONLINE BOOKING FORM IS NOW CLOSED] by Monday the 16th of August. Please note due to high demand, any requests received after this date will not be able to be accepted.

Allocation of places is based on a number of factors including: priority of access criteria, nature of the activity; support requirements of participants; assessed needs of participants; group dynamic and available staffing resources. It may not be possible to provide all places as requested due to high demand.

If you have an urgent need, or require any specific days please let us know in the comments section at the end of the booking form and we will try our best to accommodate you.

Spring School Holiday Program Information:

  • The school holiday program Operates from 9.00am to 5.00pm

  • In house activities will be planned day by day to enable a variety of activities to be available to all participants. According to their individual interests, needs and goals. Specific activities in this program will include craft activities, cooking, bike riding, water and sensory play sessions.

  • Please send in extra clothes, bathers & towel every day to enable your child to participate in swimming or sensory play opportunities.

  • Our aim is to give participants the opportunity of choice making and developing skills to help them decide what they would like to do for their holiday activities and progress towards individual goals.

  • Morning tea, lunch, afternoon snacks and drinks to be supplied by parents unless otherwise indicated in the program. “L” under the date indicates that lunch is supplied. Other days, normal school type lunch is to be sent in.

  • Please note that meals cannot be heated when out on excursion.

  • When lunch is supplied by the program only morning tea, afternoon snacks and a drink is required.

  • Please note that all effort is made to keep to the above program but sometimes we have to change things because of weather conditions, staffing ratios, participant health or behaviour support needs, etc.

  • Please refer to your YRSDS OSH Program service agreement for our cancellation guidelines.

  • Due to staffing constraints, participants cannot be accepted before 9 a.m. unless prior arrangements have been made with the Manager, and must be collected by 5 p.m. or a late pick up fee will be levied to offset extra staffing costs. Please refer to our website further details.

  • On days when an excursion is scheduled, participants need to be at the school at least 15mins prior to departure time indicated on Booking Form. It is anticipated that groups will be back at school by 4:30pm. You will be advised if a later return is anticipated.

  • Please do not forget to sign your child in each morning and advise the Manager if someone else is going to collect them.

  • Daily schedule – (centre-based activities)

  • 9.00 – 11.00 Arrival & planned activities.

  • 11.00 – 11.30 Morning tea

  • 11.30 – 2.15 Planned activities, lunch, general play

  • 2.15 - 4.00 Planned activities, afternoon tea

  • 4.00 - 5.00 Winding down and going home

  • Please wait in the front office to pick up your child - other participants can become upset on seeing others going home before them.

  • Please make sure that you advise the Manager or Team Leader of any dietary restrictions.

  • Please advise the Manager or Team Leader of any cultural or religious considerations

  • Please remember to supply sunscreen, hats etc. for warm days and coats etc. for the cooler weather. Everything should be clearly labelled to avoid loss.

  • Every effort is made to return personal items to the correct participant but if they are not clearly labelled with an individual’s name, responsibility for loss will not be taken.

  • An emergency supply of sunscreen will be held at school – please let the Program Manager know if your child has an allergy to any particular brand.

  • Staff will only administer medications prescribed by a medical practitioner.

  • Medication must be given to the nurse in its original packaging that is clearly named and labelled with dosage

  • Instructions as dispensed by the pharmacist. Correct documentation must also be supplied/completed.

  • Sick children are not permitted to attend – we have vulnerable participants and others with compromised immune systems who attend that may be at risk of contracting illnesses.

  • Staff will contact parents if their child becomes unwell and requires pick up from Program.

  • Staff will contact parents if their child is injured or causes harm to others.

  • We endeavour to give you details of your child’s participation in activities each day but if you have any queries or concerns please speak to the Program Manager.
